Colorado Provider Training Academy

**COMING SOON TO THE PROVIDER SERVICES UNIT**

The Colorado Provider Training Academy (CPTA), as part of the Performance Management and Outcomes team, will provide a 40-hour training curriculum to all licensed residential providers. The purpose is to provide professional standards of work for direct care staff, supervisors, and clinical staff in residential facilities. This includes equipping residential staff with the necessary tools and resources to effectively and strategically treat youth in care which will assist with increasing competency and retention of staff. Trauma-informed treatment is the core foundation of the training curriculum and is informed by cultural considerations and equity, diversity, and inclusion principles. The training is designed to provide foundational and advanced training modules.
